Brand Story: Fox Point Pickling Company
Serving up “delicious pickles handcrafted in Rhode Island,” Fox Point Pickling Company came about based on two things: the need for an artisanal pickle option that the Ocean State could call its own, and a husband-and-wife’s love for pickles that turned into a hobby, which later turned into a business.
At the helm of this local “small state, big flavor” production is Owner Ziggy Goldfarb, also known as Ziggy Pickles, Head Pickleteer.
“The company name and idea has been kicking around since 2012,” says Ziggy, who moved to the area four years ago. But Fox Point Pickles — which currently sells two varieties, Spicy and Garlic Dill — didn’t fully come into fruition until last summer. And on November 1, 2014, the first jar of Fox Point Pickles was sold.
